Although we’re confident that the majority of Pixel 6 and 6 Pro owners haven’t encountered any problems, there are users of the most current Google flagship device who have complained and issues. One of the major issues many are experiencing is common connectivity issues on Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 series.

A few complaints are rooted in the slightly misguided Jan. 2022’s security upgrade that caused delays, dropouts, and general connectivity issues, leading to anger among Pixel 6 and 6 Pro owners. The older complaints dated to the end of 2021 and were created through Android 12. It appears that this did not only cause issues with Pixel 6 but the rest of the Pixel hardware as well. A solution was announced in the meantime, but it isn’t working for everyone.

A great deep look of the Android Authority into the complexities of the connectivity issue, which dulls the shine on The Pixel 6 Pro, is a perfect example of issues that users are confronting. Wi-Fi and LTE network scanning in busy locations often requires a rapid restart or a switch to Airplane mode to solve scanning issues and provide a remarkably slow reconnection response. According to notes, there are large complaints threads on sites like Reddit, the official Google Support Forums, and the myriad of social media platforms you use daily. Updates have assisted some; however, they have hindered some. The issue doesn’t seem to have a single size that fits all solution.

Connectivity issues and several of the more well-known or known Pixel 6 frustrations — such as the fingerprint scanner and it isn’t easy to sell the device to potential buyers. Naturally, not all users are experiencing the same issue. There is a variety in life, after all. However, it could lead to devices being returned and replaced.

Personally, it’s my home office, and the only issue I notice frequently is that the Pixel 6 will sometimes think it’s connected with my Wi-Fi network, up to a quarter mile from my home. This isn’t a huge issue. However, I’d like it not to happen anyhow. In densely populated zones, my signal appears to be in good shape. However, I usually use public Wi-Fi regardless. This should help mitigate any issues that might arise.

This makes us wonder what you’re experiencing due to significant connectivity issues or your Pixel 6 or 6 Pro. Tell us via the Poll below. Be sure to share your thoughts in the comment section.
