On December 29, 2024, Jeju Air CEO Kim E-bae, along with other company officials, held a press conference in Seoul, South Korea, to address the recent tragic incident at Muan International Airport. The somber event followed the devastating crash of a Jeju Air passenger plane, which was carrying 181 people, and resulted in significant loss of life.
