Tesla’s Cyberquad for Kids Takes China by Storm, Selling Out Within Hours
Tesla launches “Cyberquad for Kids” with 36V battery, 15-mile range, and 10 mph max speed
Tesla introduced the Cyberquad in 2019, which they later launched in the United States. However, they had to discontinue it due to some issues as the US government imposed a ban on it that caused significant losses for Tesla.
Now, Tesla has introduced the same replica of the design they created earlier in China, and within a few hours, it sold out completely.
On July 14, the Cyberquad for Kids made its debut at the Chinese Tesla Shop with a price tag of 11,990 yuan (approximately $1,680). The excitement leading up to the launch was immense, fueled by discussions on various local social media platforms. As expected, the kiddie version of the Cyberquad flew off the shelves within just a few hours of sales starting at 10 AM local time.
